Sonderausgabe über J.R.R: Tolkien:
John Ronald Reuel Tolkien (1892-1973) was an English writer, poet, and philologist, best known as the author of "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings". Tolkien was born in South Africa and after the premature death of his father moved back to England as an infant with his mother and younger brother. He served in World War I and later became a professor of Anglo-Saxon at Oxford University. His love of language and mythology heavily influenced his writings, wherein he created detailed and immersive worlds, languages, cultures, and histories. His works have a significant impact on the fantasy genre and he remains one of the most influential and beloved authors of the last century.

Switzerland as inspiration: Bilbo's travels from Rivendell to the other side the the Misty Mountains are said to be inspired by the travels of the young Tolkien throught the Swiss Alps in 1911.
